Karnataka TET Application Form 2023
- Basic details of the candidates such as name, gender, category, date of birth, email address, mobile number, etc will be asked in the application form.
- Details related to their academics should also be provided by the candidates in the application form.
- Scanned copies of candidates’ photograph and signature will be uploaded in the application form as well.
- Choice of paper(s) in which you wish to appear and the district where you want your exam center to be should be provided carefully in the application form.
- Duly filled application form can then be submitted online with the required amount of application fee.
- A printout of the submitted application form should be taken and kept by the candidates for future reference.
- There is no need to send the hard copy of the application form or any other document to the department’s office.

Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria
For Paper I:
- PUC/ Senior Secondary with not less than 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
- PUC/ Senior Secondary with not less than 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
- Senior Secondary with not less than 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
- A/ B.Sc Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
For Paper II:
- PUC/ Senior Secondary with not less than 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
- PUC/ Senior Secondary with not less than 50% marks and 4-year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed OR
- BA/ B.Sc Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
- BA/ B.Sc Graduation with not less than 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR
- BA/ B.Sc Graduation with not less than 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education)

Karnataka TET 2023 Exam Pattern
- Mode of Exam: The Exam will be done through Offline mode.
- Duration of Exam: The Exam will be off 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes).
- Types of Exam: All the Questions in KAR TET Test will be Multiple Choice Format (MCQs).
- Number of Questions: The total number of Questions is 150 in this Exam.
- Total Marks: The Exam paper will be Carried into 150 marks.
- Marking Scheme: One Mark will be carried out for each correct answer, with four alternatives.
- Negative Marking: There will be No Negative Marking.

Karnataka TET 2023 Admit Card
Approx 15 days before the commencement of the examination, the authority will release the admit card online only. No electronic devices will be permitted in the examination hall. The applicants should carry the hard copy of the admit card to the examination center. The Admit card will have the following contents: Name, Roll no, Date of Birth, Date & timings, Venue with the complete address and Instructions to be followed during the examination.
